A FRINGE FESTIVAL FOR MILAN
MILANO OFF FRINGE
From September 22-25 and September 29 - October 2nd, 2 or 3 performances are scheduled in each participating venue from afternoon to evening. Companies from all over Italy and abroad will perform professional productions spanning a vast arrary of artistic genres, alternating in the Festival spaces.
Both the national and international companies who participate in MI OFF will be selected from the proposals submitted to the Call for Artists by the published deadline, chosen a commission composed of directors and managers of each participating structures and the artistic direction of MI OFF.
The artistic direction and general coordination of MILAN OFF FRINGE FESTIVAL is entrusted to Renato Lombardo, who will coordinate with artistic consultants across industries in order to organize the festival. MI OFF 22 will incorporate an artistic collaboration made up of expert professionals with proven experience (such as artists, producers, directors, and established actors and cultural operators on the national and international professional market) from the following categories: EUROPEAN AND INTERNATIONAL THEATER, NATIONAL THEATER, MUSICAL OFF, DANCE, MUSIC, MULTIDISCIPLINARY ARTS, VISUAL ARTS, WORKSHOPS AND SOCIAL EVENTS.
The coordinators of each sector, in addition to participating in the artist selection process, will prepare and organize Focus, debates and conferences on the subject, collaterally with the shows.
Performances will be held in three general timeslots - 17:00 (afternoon) – 19:00 (sunset) – 21:00 (evening).
Admission tickets will be sold for € 12 on average, with reductions of up to 50% for residents, young people and FIL CARD holders (valid for discounts in all participating shopping and dining locations).
Various forms of season tickets and subsciption packages will be offered, such as: full festival pass, daily pass and 5/10 show subscription packages.
The programming will be specially designed based on genres of the productions, performance spaces, and timetables, all of which will be readily and easily available online.

Award decisions will be made according to a series of juries, formed as follows:
TECHNICAL JURY – Composed of: the artistic direction of MI OFF 22, artistic directors of national and international theaters, actors, directors, nationally and internationally renowned theatre organizers, journalists, columnists and performing arts web bloggers;
ONLINE AND LIVE JURY – Made-up by popular vote, both online and by the audience present at the end of each performance;
PRO PUBLIC JURY - A committee of cultured and regular theatre-goers;
STUDENT JURY - composed of high school and University students, who will participate in a process of production evaluation and selection.
