From September 10th to 27th, 2024 (culminating in a prestigious closing event on October 8th) in addition to the Fringe performances there will be a series of cultural events, mostly with free entry, in performance spaces spread across various neighborhoods throughout the city of Milan.
“Off-Off” Milan will take over streets, squares, public and private spaces with numerous initiatives celebrating enjoyment, culture, and multidisciplinary arts. In line with the theme, Journey, this year’s Milano Off includes a series of professional tour guides which will lead audiences in a rediscovery of their city, through the places, stories, and legends that make Milan unique.
Artists of all kinds will perform in our Village Off and in surrounding festival areas, offering music, street performances, days dedicated to Journey and Poetry, and projects that will continue even after the Festival.

"VILLAGE OFF"- OUR MAIN ARTISTIC HUB
THE FRINGE VILLAGE, or "Village Off," is the headquarters of the Festival, and hosts many of "Off-Off Milan"'s multidisciplinary initiatives.
- SPEED DATES - Meetings between participating artists/companies and the artistic directors and operators of Milanese, national and international theatrical structures. Each person has 5 minutes to ask questions, gain advice and propose their show.
- THEATRICAL SHORTS – A rich circulation of new artistic proposals in the form of theatrical shorts, that will freely perform on Village Off stage throughout the day.
- OFF LIBRIS - A space dedicated to the protagonists of contemporary fiction: readings and debates connected to the performing arts within all kinds of context, comparing specific topics with general Milanese culture.
- EXPO-OFF – Visual art pieces and performative activities spread throughout the festival spaces.
- PANELS AND WORKSHOPS
- ECO-FESTIVAL - Daily meetings between Ecology and Economy in order to deepen the social and professional relationships between science, culture and art. Discussion panels with festival partners and associations, with particular perspectives in relation to Milanese culture.
